Wemos D1 Mini Nodemcu Wifi Esp8266 Development Board Iot Arduino Esp8266

The Mini D1 module is both a Wifi card and a powerful ARM microcontroller, this module is the exact equivalent of a standard NodeMCU module, in miniature. It is also based on the ESP12E with 4Mb flash and is fully compatible with NodeMCU and the Lua script (can be used instead of a NodeMCU module). The Mini D1 will really show its full potential and power only with the Arduino platform with the ESP8266 pack, so this way is highly recommended for development with this module and with the ESP8266 in general. The mini D1 is one of the basic ESP8266 cards recognized by Arduino (as well as the NodeMCU) many examples are provided and the platform is very easy to use.
The majority of Arduino libraries and examples will work with very little or no modification on the Mini D1, at 160 Mhz instead of 8/16 Mhz and with 4Mb of ROM (space available for the application = total capacity - bootloader and firmware space). Find the pinout, a manual and the schema below and below this script.

To install the Arduino ESP8266 package refer to the manual and here, https://arduino.esp8266.com/stable/package_esp8266com_index. json to enter the Arduino card manager). For NodeMCU go here.

The Mini D1 module features a CH340 chipset for UART communication and its own auto-reset system for automatic Arduino upload. It also includes an LDO 3.3V controller, a 3.3V input, a 5.0V input and a USB microphone socket for power supply and programming / debug (UART via USB). The CH340 chipset is compatible with all systems and is now widely used. 11 ports are available on the board, all of which have an interrupt (IRQ), PWM, I2C and 1-wire except D0. Many male and female headers are supplied, including double-length female headers.
