Ausbond® Plastic 80 is a type of single-component transparent acrylic protective paint, which can form an extensible protective layer on printed circuit boards. It can prevent corrosion of weak acids, alkalis, alcohol, mildew, salinity, heat stress, ultraviolet radiation, moisture and insects. This product is resistant to high temperatures and does not degrade with heat and tin can be soldered directly onto the protective film. It can fully comply with the requirements of the EU ROHS Directive.

Characteristics of the product

1. Quickly forms a tough, glazed, non-conductive protective film.
2. With excellent performance, moisture, mildew, salinity, electrical insulation and electrical resistance to leakage.
3. They have long-term protection for household appliances, electronic equipment and parts, etc., to extend their useful life.
4. The protective film begins to soften above 100oC, becomes viscous below 120oC but does not degrade, and the tin can be soldered directly onto the protective film. 

Application of the product
Waterproof and moisture-proof, and improves insulation resistance; isolates contact between cables, cable, cable joint, screw contact and switches and air; applies for example to prevent electrical leakage, perfect for protecting circuit boards, and electronic parts and any electronic equipment that may be exposed to adverse agents such as chemicals, salt spray, moisture, electrical insulation, dust, vibration and high/low temperature and other bad environments.
