Bluetooth module Hc-05 without board (arduino compatible)

The Bluetooth HC-05 module allows us to connect our Arduino projects to a smartphone, mobile phone or PC wirelessly (Bluetooth), with the ease of operation of a serial port. The transmission is completely transparent to the programmer, so it connects directly to the serial pins of our favourite microcontroller (respecting the voltage levels, as the module is powered with 3.3V). All module parameters can be configured via AT commands. The board also includes a 3.3V regulator, which allows the module to be powered with a voltage between 3.6V - 6V. This module is the ideal complement for our robotics, domotics and remote control projects with Arduino, PIC, Raspberry PI, ESP8266, ESP32, STM32, etc.

Bluetooth communication is between two types of devices: a master and a slave. If our goal is to connect our project to an android smartphone we can use either a HC-06 or a HC-05 module configured as a slave. The Bluetooth HC-05 module is factory configured to work as a slave, i.e. ready to listen for connection requests, but we can configure it to work as a Master using AT commands. On the other hand, if our goal is to connect two projects, we will need to use a HC-05 module configured as a master and a HC-06 (slave) or a HC-05 configured as a slave.

This module complies with the specifications of the Bluetooth 2.0 standard which is perfectly compatible with Android mobile phones or smartphones, but not with iPhones.
